How it works

From your expertise to a guide that earns.

Apply, verify, build, publish, then earn when travelers buy your guide or plan a trip around it. No listing fees, no per-guide cost.

  1. 01

    Apply.

    ~10 min

Tell us what you’d write, and where you publish today. We read each application and come back with next steps within a few business days.

  2. 02

    Get reviewed and verified.

    One-time

We read each application by hand and accept knowledgeable travelers whose recommendations hold up. Approved publishers then complete a one-time verification (an identity check and a one-time fee) before publishing.

  3. 03

    Build your guide.

    A few hours

The authoring tool turns your notes, transcripts, and past writing into structured entries: hotels, restaurants, neighborhoods, routes. You edit and arrange; the structure does itself.

  4. 04

    Preview and publish.

    Minutes

See exactly how your guide reads (cover, entries, byline), then publish when it’s ready. Nothing goes live until you say so.

  5. 05

    Earn when it’s used.

    Ongoing

A cut when your guide sells, and a payout when Atlas plans a trip around it. Track each sale, trip-use, and payout live in your publisher analytics.

Build fast

Import in bulk or one entry at a time.

You’ve already got the spreadsheet of spots, the saved-place lists, the half-written guide. Import the lot at once and it’s organized into a clean, sellable guide, finished in an afternoon, not a month of data entry.

  • A spreadsheet, one row per place
  • Saved-place lists and maps
  • A guide you’ve already published
Quality

Recommendations that hold up.

We don’t just verify who you are; we review what you know. Every publisher is hand-reviewed for genuine expertise, so the recommendations come from travelers who actually know the place.

01

Apply

Pitch what you’d write and share sample work, so we can see the expertise behind your picks.

02

Reviewed

Our team reads each application by hand and accepts knowledgeable travelers whose recommendations hold up. Curation, not open sign-up.

03 Verified

Verified

A one-time identity check and fee confirm the byline is yours; then your work goes live, vetted and credited.

Two ways to earn

Bought as a guide. Or used in a trip.

Travelers buy your guide and read it on its own, or pull it into an Airheart trip, where Atlas plans the days around your picks. You earn either way.

Bought as a guide You earn on the sale
Used in a trip You earn on the trip
Economics

Earn when your guide sells, and when it powers a trip.

You earn a creator-favorable cut on each sale, and a payout each time Atlas plans a trip around your guide. Your rate is set per organization and recorded; we don’t change the deal on you. Track each sale, trip-use, and payout in your analytics.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What does it cost to become a publisher?
Applying is free. Once you’re approved, there’s a one-time verification fee (an identity check plus a review of your application) before you publish. After that there’s no listing fee and no per-guide cost: publish as much as you want, and Airheart’s share comes only out of sales and trip-use, never out of your pocket.
How do I make money?
Two ways, both creator-favorable: a cut on each sale when a traveler buys your guide, and a payout when Atlas uses your guide to plan a trip. Your rate is set per organization and recorded in your publisher agreement; we don’t change it on you.
Who buys my guide, and how do they use it?
Travelers planning a trip. They can read your guide as a standalone editorial product, or drop it into an Airheart trip so Atlas builds the itinerary around your recommendations. Either way, you earn.
Do I keep my work and my audience?
Yes. You keep your copyright, your byline, and your subscriber list. Buyers can come through your own channels or through marketplace discovery; either way they’re yours.
What happens when I update a guide?
Existing buyers keep their pinned version and see an upgrade prompt. No silent rewrites, no “version 2 is the only one.” Your buyers choose when to move up.
